Hazrat Imam Ali Zain-Ul-Abdin (a.s)

Hazrat Imam Ali ibn al-Hussain (a.s), revered as Zain-ul-Abidin (Ornament of the Worshippers) and al-Sajjad, is the fourth Imam. The sole surviving adult son of Imam Hussain (a.s) from the tragedy of Karbala, he preserved the message of Karbala alongside his aunt Sayyida Zainab (s.a). He is author of the spiritual masterpiece Al-Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya and the Treatise on Rights (Risalat al-Huquq). His sacred resting place is in Jannat al-Baqi, Medina.
