Hazrat Imam Muhammad Taqi

Hazrat Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Taqi (a.s), also known as al-Jawad (the Generous) and Bab al-Murad, is the ninth Imam. Known for his extraordinary wisdom from early youth, he is the forebear of the Taqui/Taqvi Syed branches. His sacred shrine is located in Kadhimiya, Iraq.
